The first ARCH SUMMER DAY took place on the 29th of August 2021 in Moscow! The sports and entertainment festival brought together more than 500 architects and designers at the Beryozy Park site. Registration for the event closed 3 days before the start, and the waiting list exceeded 100 people.

The concept of the event “Architects for Architects”.
Architects and partners took an active part in event and created this one together with the team of the A-class Houses for their colleagues on the bank of the Moskva River in the open air from 10 am to 10 pm. The most notorious representatives of Russian architecture gathered on one site. Alexandra Fedorova with a trainer held a yoga master class, design studio mops organized sap swims. All sports events: volleyball, badminton, frisbee, FLAT were held by professionals from World Class. The partners of the event gave away prizes and trips, arranged additional contests and entertainment. A-class Houses have gathered again a large-scale collaboration of 23 partners – the best professionals in the construction industry.

The dishes from architects working as chefs became the specialty of the festival. Boris Uborevich-Borovsky prepared famous cheesecakes for brunch and shared his original recipe with the guests, Gafa architects treated Gyros. Totan Kuzembaev effectively cooked 60 kg of pilaf in a huge cauldron for dinner, Ab architects roasted 3 juicy lamb on a spit in Serbian style, and Oleg Koscheev form OK architects treated with branded cocktails black, white and gray in the bar.
Formula A Soapbox Derby was the centerpiece of ARCH SUMMER DAY. The soap dish races, famous in Europe since 1904, were first held in Russia. During 1.5 hours 14 teams of partners and architects assembled non-motorized cars, developed a unique design and held a real race time trial with a pit stop for changing wheels. It was a spectacular and gambling competition that captured the instagram of all participants and fans!
The evening ended with a fiery sunset over the Moskva River, festive fountains accompanied by the favorite hits of the cover band and a DJ set by Alexei Nikolashin.

Thanks to the participation and contribution of guests there was created an amazing atmosphere in the process of organizing the event, where was paid an attention to each other and joint creativity. It turned out to be a grandiose holiday filled with fun, communication, warmth, and sun of the last weekend of this summer.
