At the ARCH MOSCOW 2026 exhibition, the architectural bureau WOWHAUS (https://wowhaus.ru/) presented an original stand that resembles a fragment of a cruise ship’s deck. The stand’s unusual design allows the architects to highlight their work with Gorky Park, particularly the embankments, where several pavilions are completed or nearly completed. The second floor of the stand features resort amenities such as lounge chairs, binoculars, green plants, and other recreational amenities, which the architectural firm has been introducing into Moscow since 2011.

While the “upper deck” is dedicated to relaxation and entertainment, the “lower deck” is more informational. Digital screens at the bottom of the stand display a panoramic view of the embankment (as seen from the water) and two sketches by Deineka. Lighting fixtures, reminiscent of the ship’s style, also contribute to the atmosphere of a ship’s deck. Rugged, waterproof fixtures are mounted on the ceiling beams, providing general illumination for the lower deck. Compact LED spotlights highlight the vertical pillars, highlighting the authentic architectural details.
