ARCH SUMMER DAY 2025
The ARCH SUMMER DAY architectural festival is held every two years on the last weekend of summer, gathering on its site not just professionals from various fields of architecture, design and construction, but also true friends, partners and like-minded people.
This year’s grand event took place on the 30th of August at the renovated Bereza Park space, located on the shore of the Stroginsky Reservoir. ARCH SUMMER DAY is a special event, an architectural festival outside of architecture, where there is no place for boring presentations. This is a day of vivid impressions, sports competitions, interesting activities and master classes, delicious culinary masterpieces from famous architects, dance drive, new meetings and communication with friends and like-minded people.
A bright and memorable symbol of the large-scale event of 2025 was a green head of cabbage – fresh, aromatic, juicy – a positive image associated with summer. The festival area was decorated with cabbage and lettuce heads, cauliflower and broccoli, as well as other greenery, immersing the guests of the event in the colors of the passing summer. The photo zone with wheelbarrows filled with thematic attributes became a favorite place for photo shooting.
The day was filled with a variety of sports activities for every taste: jiu-jitsu, chess, frisbee, jenga, darts, ping-pong, pilates, dancing, kayaks, SUP boards, volleyball. For the first time, the event included master classes dedicated to drawing, composition skills and creativity. The sporting culmination of the day was the main team game with partners and guests of the event. The teams constructed real rafts on which they had to cover a distance on water against the clock. The fiery raft race was remembered by both the swim participants and the spectators, who actively encouraged the athletes throughout the entire distance of water race. At the end, there was held a formal awards ceremony to honor the winners.
The architects also impressed the guests with their culinary skills. Boris Uborevich-Borovsky treated them to his signature syrniki (cheesecakes), and Totan Kuzembaev cooked the most delicious pilaf. The evening of the eventful day was concluded by a musical group performing favorite hits of world performers, which was then replaced by the expected dance rhythms from DJ Nikolashin. Incendiary music and stylish arrangements gathered guests on the dance floor, continuing to enjoy unforgettable views of the Stroginskaya Reservoir and the warm evening of the passing summer.
We thank everyone who visited this unforgettable ARCH SUMMER DAY 2025 – the impressive project of the A-Class Houses community. Special thanks to the organizers for this wonderful holiday, which became one of the most anticipated architectural events of the summer.
