The “Russian Lighting Design” competition is an integral part of the annual exhibition Interlight Russia | Intelligent Building Russia. Lighting designers and lighting planners take part in it. They set the goal of their activities to make lighting design not only effective and modern, but also aesthetic, comfortable, evoking an emotional response and decorating our lives.

The “Russian Lighting Design” competition was first organized in 2001 and is aimed at identifying talented lighting designers and raising the status of Russian lighting design. The purpose of the Competition is to popularize the profession of lighting designer, identify and promote talented young Russian designers in the domestic and international markets, as well as improve the status of Russian lighting design.

This year the jury traditionally included:
— leading lighting designer of the engineering company QPRO Sofia Kudryakova

Dates and venue:
April 17 – August 1 – acceptance of competitive works on the competition website;
August 2–25 – The first stage of the jury’s work to evaluate competitive works;
August 30 – Publication of competition shortlists;
September 2–4 – Second stage – jury meeting and determination of the winners of the competition;
September 19 – Announcement of the competition winners and award ceremony at the Interlight Russia exhibition | Intelligent Building Russia
