From the 5th till 7th of December will be held the International Architectural and Construction Forum “Kazanysh” in Kazan.
“Kazanysh” is a unique international platform for the search for a modern architectural language between city and people, capable of reflecting the multilayered cultural past and looking into the future. With its vivid identity and integrating the diversity of other nations, Tatarstan is becoming a bridge connecting the West and the East.
This year’s theme is “Reflecting Identity”. Identity is a multi-layered appearance of unique cultural, historical, geographical, and architectural features that have been formed over several centuries and determine the development of cities and territories for decades to come. Today, many cities face the challenge of maintaining their identity while striving for development and globalization.

Aleksandra Ushakova, Head of Design Department of QPRO Engineering Company, will participate in two sessions at Kazanysh.

Sessions:
December 5, 3rd hall
13-15-14.30 – Round table “What should be the city for children, adolescents and people of the third age”.

December 6, 3rd hall
10-00-11-30 – Master class “Cultural enlightenment: formation of architectural lighting of the city to strengthen the identity”.

The aim of the forum is to draw attention to the importance of the architect’s role and to show how architecture and construction can help preserve the cultural and historical value of cities, while creating modern and functional spaces for living and working.
