7. Neon
One of the main interior trends of 2021 and 2022 was neon lighting. People attribute the rise in popularity of neon to social media, when during the pandemic, people showed their creativity in different ways and shared the results of their creations in social media. The flexibility of the material, the variety and reference to retro aesthetics allowed neon to be assessed with a fresh look.
