The Moscow Interior and Design Week will take place from 6th to 9th of May 2023. Moscow Interior and Design Week is the main event of the May holidays!

Within 4 days participants will be able to visit 2 floors of furniture and interior stands located in Pavilion 57 of VDNKh, outdoor exposition, a store with goods for the home in the 55th pavilion of VDNKh, as well as stands from international participants, a central art object and individual expositions. 5 thematic zones will show a new vision of the residential environment, offices, street and public spaces.

As part of the business program at the Moscow Interior and Design Week, the leading lighting designer of the engineering company QPRO Sofya Kudryakova will act as a moderator of the session named “Illuminating the main thing: how to work with light in a modern interior.”

The announcement of the discussion is:
“Goals and objectives of lighting design? Lighting design strategy? Don’t make me laugh, please, I just need a chandelier,” this is what everyone thinks “engaged in lighting” for the apartment for the first time. We exaggerate a little, but generally people buy luminaries in accordance with the residual principle and at the final stage of repair: the wallpaper is pasted, the furniture is arranged, it remains to hang up the lamp, but in vain. What is light, what functions does it perform, what meaning does it carry, and how is it perceived in different situations? Case session will be devoted to the unique ideology of lighting design.”
