At the end of May 2026 took place the "Business and Design Dialogue" forum and exhibition, where the architectural firm ABD Architects presented their innovative booth in the Trend Room.
The space of this unique pavilion offers a unique way to connect and engage in dialogue, where everyone can build new connections that expand and strengthen the field of shared efforts to achieve results.
With the help of unusual pavilion, the architects wanted to convey the idea that today's office space is not just walls and desks, but a field of invisible threads of force between people. The Trend Room makes this field visible, tangible, and active: it connects people.
Lighting design solution for this conceptual space has become an expressive visual tool that conveys the key idea. The role of electric current and a kind of discharge creating a magnetic field was played by suspended light objects of complex shape. A cluster of winding tubes glowing with bright white light, suspended from the ceiling, was visible from different points, inviting visitors to better examine and unravel it. “Electric discharge” became the object of attraction and the main focus of the stand. In addition to its decorative purpose, the lighting structure provided general illumination of the interior space of the stand. Surface-mounted luminaires, which evenly diffused light in the translucent material, helped to reveal a double-sided funnel-shaped structure within the dark cube of the stand, depicting the spread of a magnetic field.
Additionally, glowing floor balls were used as decorative elements in the social area. They extended the curved lines, visually representing the spread of a magnetic field, creating a unique circle of trust and encouraging pleasant conversation. The lighting also interacts with the stand's contents through highlights and reflections in the silver furniture.
With lighting, the idea, form and dynamics of nature have been linked together. Light became a tool that filled the space of the pavilion with meaning and also created an impressive visual effect. The original lighting design solution made it possible to present the design idea in a dark exhibition space.
