Project details
The project for the comprehensive reconstruction of the Krymskaya embankment involved the transformation of an unloaded four-lane road into an all-season landscape park. The new multi-level landscape was formed by pedestrian and bicycle paths, artificial hills and ponds, urban furniture and pavilions. The plastic motif of the wave linked all the elements into a single architectural image.
At night, the park is transformed by lighting. The linden alley is illuminated by ground recessed luminaries, arranging accents on the vegetation and maintaining the dynamics of the jet dynamic light fountain.
Pedestrian paths and bike paths evenly illuminate the minimalist luminaries on poles. There are low bollards along the water perimeter. Light of these low luminaries is directed downwards to avoid the effect of blinding and ensure safety. Warm light creates a feeling of comfort and a pleasant atmosphere during darkness.
