There were never so many opportunities to create an individual living environment for modern private homes as it is today. The owners of such buildings strive to create something more valuable than just a simple house. This means that architects and designers have more and more opportunities to develop complex individual solutions using exclusive modern technologies, in which lighting plays a significant role.
Lighting design offers many options for maximizing comfort, health, human efficiency, and mood.
This article will focus on lighting scenarios for country private houses where lighting plays important role, because it becomes one of the main factors that control the emotional state of a person.

As a rule, white (warm white) light sources in the interior perform a functional task. They provide a comfortable light environment in the house or on the street. Façade lighting solution with warm white light emphasizes the texture of the material, highlights the architectural features of the building, and gives an aesthetically attractive appearance at night.

ABOUT COLOR LIGHTING
A colored lighting solution can be an addition to white (warm white) architectural lighting. It is used to create special lighting scenarios, for example, a festive one. Now there are lighting fixtures not only in the RGB version, but also, for example, RGBW-3000-6000. This means that the luminaire can mix three colors – red, green and blue plus white with a color temperature of 3000-6000 K.

For example, lighting designer Matteo Masservi came up with a dynamic lighting scenario where light acts like a brush with a palette of colors. Thanks to a wide palette of colors and shades, it is possible to influence the emotional state of a person with the help of lighting. There are many scientific articles that say that different lighting colors and their shades are able to form different emotional states of a person now. For example, blue, heavenly color relieves stress, calms. A soft pink shade also calms and creates a feeling of comfort, relieves obsessive thoughts, does not create emotional pressure. This color shade can be used during an evening event, when guests relax and chat.

The principle of such a lighting color scenario is to create a relaxed atmosphere. RGBW luminaires with pixel addressing and control function can change the shades and intensity of lighting. You can program them in such a way that the effect of northern lights appears on the facade, and then the facade will become a canvas on which this natural phenomenon, familiar to many due to its indescribable beauty, will appear. At nightfall, this mode can be left or changed from dynamic color lighting to static color or simple white color. At the same time, the power consumption of luminaires can be reduced, reducing electricity consumption at night, and minimizing light pollution.

It is very important to integrate luminaires into the architecture of the facade and to make them visually invisible. But they must create the necessary lighting effect. The light should be as delicate as possible, form the right atmosphere, without an overabundance of colored lighting. Otherwise, active colored light can become a source of rapid fatigue. Decorative lamps can be the exception, because their task is to create an aesthetic appeal of the interior or exterior.

The picture on the magazine’s page shows an example of the successful integration of lighting fixtures into architecture: they are almost invisible, but the light emphasizes the architecture of the facade and the texture of the material. Lighting Designers Beijing PROLighting Design Co. developed a lighting design concept based on the moonlight for this project. They sought to imitate natural conditions by excluding lighting devices from the field of view of a person and installing most of them at a low height. The multi-layered space was brought to life thanks to discreet landscape lighting, focusing on plants and details.

Dynamic lighting is personalization, the ability to create the mood you want here and now, no matter what you are doing. Various control systems are used to control lighting in private homes – from mobile gadgets and a remote control to voice messages. For example, it will not be difficult to change the lighting conditions during a holiday or dinner with guests with this technology.
Thanks to modern technologies, control systems and sensors, you don’t have to worry about leaving the house without turning off the light. Automation systems make the life of a modern person more comfortable and convenient, allowing you to enjoy a space that adapts to the wishes of the owner.
