On the 1st of October there was the “Big Light Conference. New Reality 2022″ in Moscow. The event was organized by the communication agency “ArchDialog”.

The conference was opened by the leading lighting designer of the QPRO engineering company Sofia Kudryakova with a lecture on the topic “Light Wikipedia for designers. About important nuances in simple words”.
As part of the report, Sophia told the audience about what light is, what functions it performs, what semantic load it carries and how it is perceived in different situations. A large part of the lecture was dedicated to the unique lighting design ideology developed by QPRO specialists – “Designing by the laws of nature.”. The leading lighting designer spoke about each of the 6 points of the ideology:
1 – Rational light
2 – Technology as a result of evolution
3 – Balanced light
4 – Shaping light
5 – Light as a language of communication
6 – Eco-friendly light

Sofia explained to designers and architects in detail each point of the ideology, why it is important while designing a light environment for a person. For each section, she gave examples of projects implemented by QPRO company, both commercial and private.
